Unlimited local processing macOS 13+ Perpetual fallback license No uploads, meters, or watermarks
01 / The gap

The cloud clippers meter the work, watermark the trial, and make you wait.

Opus Clip, Submagic, and Vizard are useful, but the tradeoff is built into the model: upload your footage, spend credits or minutes, wait for processing, and hit free-tier limits or watermarks. ClipMiner is the Mac version of the workflow creators actually want: flat-priced, unlimited, local, and ready when your file is already on your disk.

02 / How it works

Long video in. Ranked, captioned shorts out.

Point

Choose a long video on your Mac: podcast, talk, stream, webinar, interview, or recorded conversation. No upload step and no account queue.

Mine

ClipMiner scans the video locally and ranks the most clip-worthy moments so you start with the strongest candidates, not a flat pile of cuts.

Explain

Each pick shows why it surfaced: hooks, questions, emphatic language, specific claims, and numbers that make a short more likely to stand on its own.

Cut cleanly

Clips are cut on sentence boundaries, never mid-word or mid-sentence — the rough-edge problem that makes many cloud-generated clips unusable.

Caption

Export vertical 9:16 video with burned-in captions, ready to review and post manually to Shorts, Reels, TikTok, or wherever you publish.

Repeat

Run as much footage as your Mac can handle. No minute meter, no credit balance, no watermark, no upload wait, and no internet required.

03 / Why ClipMiner

Built for creators with footage, deadlines, and a Mac.

Flat price, unlimited runs

ClipMiner is $19/month with a free trial. Process long videos without counting minutes, buying credit packs, or deciding which footage is worth uploading.

No waiting on uploads

If the file is on your Mac, ClipMiner can start there. Long recordings do not need to travel to a cloud service before the useful work begins.

Local by default

Analysis, ranking, cutting, and captions run on-device. Your raw interviews and unreleased footage stay on your Mac, and ClipMiner works offline.

Reasons, not mystery scores

Ranked moments include the signals behind them — hooks, questions, emphatic lines, and specifics — so editors can make fast, informed calls.

Sentence-boundary cuts

ClipMiner avoids the mid-word and mid-sentence cuts that force editors to redo automated clips by hand.

Cancel and keep it

After twelve paid months your license vests: cancel any time afterward and the version you paid for keeps working, forever.

04 / Pricing

One flat subscription, not a minute meter.

07 / Questions

The honest answers.

Is this a cloud clipper?

No. ClipMiner runs on your Mac. It does not require uploading raw footage to process it, and it can work offline.

Does the free trial add a watermark?

No. ClipMiner is positioned against watermarked free tiers: the trial is for validating the local workflow, not for branding your exports.

How does it pick moments?

It ranks candidate moments and shows the signals behind each pick, including hooks, questions, emphatic language, and concrete specifics or numbers.

Will it cut speakers off?

ClipMiner cuts on sentence boundaries, never mid-word or mid-sentence. You still review the final clip, but the default cut should not start or end in the middle of a thought.

Does it post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts?

No. ClipMiner exports vertical 9:16 clips with burned-in captions that are ready for manual posting. It does not auto-post or schedule social content.

Does it run on Windows?

No. ClipMiner is for Mac and requires macOS 13 or later.
